Lo studio è centrato sulla mistica naturale dell’India come viene presentata da Jacques Maritain principalmente nelle sue opere Distinguere per unire. I gradi del sapere, e L’esperienza mistica naturale e il vuoto: si traccia l’evoluzione del suo pensiero e il cambio di prospettiva, si descrive il processo esperienziale, si determina lo statuto epistemologico nei confronti della mistica cristiana e se ne commenta il significato.

The study focuses on the natural mysticism of India as presented by Jacques Maritain principally in his works, Distinguish to unite – The Degrees of Knowledge and Natural Mystical Experience and the Void, with a view to tracing the evolution of his thought and the change of perspective, describing its experiential process, determining its epistemological status with respect to Christian mysticism, and commenting on its significance.
