L’articolo si concentra sul Proemio di Veritatis Gaudium e ne sintetizza i contenuti a partire dalla prospettiva dello “stare alla frontiera” (tra fede e cultura) e alla fine lascia intravedere la possibilità di ulteriori sviluppi. Si individuano tre momenti di un percorso in atto: 1) la fiducia nell’incontro tra fede e cultura, che ha segnato il cammino postconciliare; 2) la necessità, nel tempo attuale, di abitare la complessità culturale in uno stile di laboratorio; 3) la provocazione, per il futuro, di passare dallo “stare sulla frontiera” all’“abitare le tracce divine dell’umano”

This article focuses on the Foreword of Veritatis gaudium and summarises its contents from the perspective of “remaining on the borderline” (between faith and culture); at the end it allows to see the possibility of further developments. Three steps are being described: 1) the confidence in the encounter between faith and culture, that has left a mark in the way after the Council; 2) the necessity on the present time to live the complexity and to realise a cultural laboratory; 3) the challenge for the future to move from “remaining on the borderline” to “living the divine traces of the human”.
