Il titolo di questo articolo Tra parrocchia e scuola, con il sottotitolo L’evoluzione della catechesi in Polonia negli anni 1918-2001 vuole indicare l’obiettivo principale della riflessione. Nella storia della catechesi in Polonia vi sono stati due modelli, quello della parrocchia e quello della scuola. L’analisi verte sulle motivazioni per cui la catechesi è stata confinata in parrocchia, gioia per lo Stato marxista perché desiderava sopprimerla e sfida per la Chiesa perché costretta a migliorare l’efficacia di una catechesi ridotta all'ambiente della parrocchia. Ciò ha indotto la Chiesa ad uno sviluppo della riflessione catechistica, soprattutto in merito all’efficacia della sua organizzazione.  

The title of the article „Between the parish and the school” with the subtitle “The evolution of the catechesis in Poland in the years 1918-2001” is designed to reveal the main objective of the analysis. In the history of the catechesis in Poland there have appeared two models of catechesis – the parish and the school one. The work concentrates on the arguments which has led to the restriction of the catechesis to the parish, causing the satisfaction of the Marxist system as well as challenging and forcing the Church to improve the process of catechizing limited to the parish. This has additionally made the Church deeply reflect on catechesis, especially on its organisational side.
