La parola vocazione suscita spesso una sorta di timore “reverenziale”, la mente corre al mondo religioso relegandone il significato in un ambito ristretto. Vocazione però è molto altro: ognuno è chiamato a saltare dal proprio “trampolino” per compiere il proprio volo e per tracciare il personale cammino sia attuale che futuro. I giovani, in particolare, sono chiamati in questa sfida. Il Sinodo dei Vescovi sui Giovani, propone alcuni spunti di riflessione per “osservare” con occhi sempre nuovi questa importantissima età della vita. La centralità della persona e la cura della progettazione, attraverso iniziative che valorizzino il tempo presente, il dialogo con i giovani e l’intento di “fare con loro e non per loro”, sono il cuore e lo sfondo dell’articolo.

The word vocation often has a scary reverential effect, it brings to mind something religious, relegating its meaning to a narrow view of it. But vocation is much more than this: everyone is called to jump from their diving board to take on their flight and follow their personal road both now and in the future. young people, in particular, are called to this challenge, the Synod of Bishops on youths, proposes some tips to reflect upon and to observe this most important stage of life from continuously new points of view. Always putting the person at the center and curating the procedure, through initiatives which highlight the present time, talking with young people and with the intent of “doing with them and not for them”, are at the heart and the background of this article.
