Questo articolo presenta il pensiero di Charles Péguy dalla prospettiva del dialogo tra la teologia e la letteratura, alla ricerca di una sintesi tra il contenuto e la forma dell’opera, avendo come centro di convergenza la ricerca della bellezza. A questo riguardo, vengono indicate alcune coincidenze tra Péguy e il romanziere russo F. M. Dostoyevski. Questo rapporto diventa concreto attraverso tre esempi rilevanti nell’opera di Péguy: la solidarietà universale tra gli uomini e l’Incarnazione di Gesù Cristo, culminando con la contemplazione del “cuore di Dio”.

This article presents the thought of Charles Péguy from the prospect of a dialogue  between theology and literature, which seeks a synthesis between the contents and form of the work and is centred on the search for beauty. In this respect some similarities between Péguy and the Russian novelist F. M. Dostoyevski are indicated. This relationship is rendered concrete by means of three important examples which are to be found in Péguy’s work: the universal solidarity among human beings and the Incarnation of Jesus Christ which culminates in the contemplation of the “heart of God”.
